Rabbi Yitzchak Zev (Joseph) Kolakowski is the Rabbi of the Nachalei Emunah Hasidic Institute. He received Rabbinical Ordination from Grand Rabbi Aaron Shlomo Rabinowitz, Biala Rebbe shlit"a, at Yeshivath Or Kedoshim Biala in Brooklyn; and from HaRav Shmuel Yosef Fishbain, shlit"a, Chief Rabbi of White Lake, NY, at the Beis Medrash of White Lake, and from Beis Medrash L’Talmud in Queens, NY. He also holds a BA in Psychology from Lander College for Men in Queens, NY and a Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Rabbinics and Synagogue Management from Touro College in conjunction with National Council of Young Israel & Young Israel Council of Rabbis. He also holds an honorary Masters of Hebrew Letters and Honorary Doctor of Divinity. His English translation of Sefer Seder HaYom by the late Biala Rebbe was published in 2006 in the Land of Israel. Rabbi Kolakowski and his wife, Chavah, moved to Richmond in January of 2007 and hope to help Nachalei Emunah Hasidic Institute grow to be a bastion of Torah and Tefillah in the rich tapestry that is the Richmond Jewish community. |
